Dr. Huseini Wiisibie Alidu,

Facilitator

Dr. Huseini Wiisibie Alidu is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Health and Allied Sciences Ghana. Prior to this appointment he was a Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. He is a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist and a Consultant Chemical Pathologist. He is also the immediate past president of the UHAS chapter of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG). He is currently the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences.

Prof. Samuel Essien-Baidoo

Facilitator

As an Associate Professor in Laboratory Medicine, and a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science, he has a lot of insight into studying immune modulatory mechanisms, inflammation, and immune responses to infectious and non-communicable diseases. His works have focused on the interface between natural and artificial determinants of adverse health outcomes in relation to infectious and non-infectious diseases in Ghana and beyond.
